Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 October 2026

This website is operated under the Lunar Mare brand by Qingyuan Lunar Mare Group Limited (青元海月集團有限公司), a company incorporated in Hong Kong (the Hong Kong Operator, we, us or our). 上海青元海月科技贸易有限公司 (the Shanghai Entity) may handle an enquiry where it relates to mainland China operations or where it assists with delivery. The contracting entity for any service will be identified separately in the relevant proposal or agreement.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect and handle personal data through this website, email and related business communications. The Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance applies to the Hong Kong Operator. Where we offer services to or process personal information about individuals in mainland China, the Personal Information Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China and other applicable mainland China rules may also apply.

Information we collect

We may collect:

  • your name, company, role, business email address and other contact details you provide;
  • information about your product, service, target markets and business enquiry;
  • correspondence, meeting notes, proposals and records created while we respond to you; and
  • limited technical and security data, such as IP address, browser type, request time and server logs.

Please do not submit identity documents, financial account data, health data, confidential technical files or other sensitive or regulated information through the enquiry form. This website is intended for business users and is not directed to children.

Why we use the information

We use personal data only where relevant to:

  • receive, assess and respond to your enquiry;
  • arrange discussions and prepare a proposal or engagement;
  • administer a client, supplier, partner or applicant relationship;
  • operate, troubleshoot and protect the website and business communications;
  • maintain records and establish, exercise or defend legal rights; and
  • comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

Supplying information is voluntary. Fields marked as required are needed for us to understand and respond to an enquiry. If you do not provide them, we may be unable to respond. We do not use enquiry details for direct marketing unless we first give the required notice and obtain any consent required by applicable law.

Who receives the information

Depending on the enquiry, personal data may be received by:

  • Qingyuan Lunar Mare Group Limited (Hong Kong), as website operator and primary recipient, at contact@lunarmaregroup.com;
  • 上海青元海月科技贸易有限公司 (mainland China), when the enquiry concerns mainland China operations or it assists with delivery;
  • authorised personnel and professional advisers who need the information for the purposes above;
  • our Hong Kong website hosting and security providers; and
  • the email provider described below.

The enquiry form is received by a same-origin service on our Hong Kong server and relayed to our business mailbox through an encrypted SMTP connection. The relay does not intentionally write form contents to a local database or application log. Standard web-server and security logs may temporarily record limited technical data such as IP address, request time, route and response status. Our business mailbox is provided by Namecheap, Inc., whose privacy office can be contacted at dpo@namecheap.com and whose privacy policy describes its practices.

Service providers process information only to provide their services to us or as otherwise permitted by law. We do not sell personal data.

International and cross-border processing

The website and enquiry relay are hosted in Hong Kong. An enquiry submitted from mainland China is therefore transferred to and processed in Hong Kong. It may also be processed outside Hong Kong and mainland China by Namecheap and its disclosed service providers when the enquiry is delivered to and held in our business mailbox.

For a mainland China user, before submitting the form we ask for separate consent to this cross-border transfer. The purposes are to transmit, receive, secure and respond to the enquiry; the processing methods include collection, transmission, storage, review, correspondence and deletion; and the information types are those listed under “Information we collect”. You may exercise your rights against us through the contact details below and may contact an identified provider through the links above. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing completed before withdrawal, but it may prevent us from continuing to handle the enquiry.

We take reasonable measures intended to require service providers and recipients to protect personal data. Where required, we will also complete an impact assessment and use an applicable contractual, certification, security-assessment or exempt transfer route before transferring personal information from mainland China.

Retention

We keep personal data only for the shortest period reasonably necessary for the purposes above. An ordinary enquiry that does not lead to an engagement is normally deleted or anonymised from our business mailbox and working records within 24 months after the last substantive contact, unless a shorter period is appropriate or a longer period is required for legal, security or dispute-management reasons. Client and transaction records may be retained for the period required by applicable law and our contractual obligations. The website relay does not intentionally retain the submitted form body after the email-delivery attempt has completed.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical controls designed to protect personal data, including restricted access, account security, HTTPS for the website, encrypted SMTP delivery, rate limiting and service-provider review. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If a personal-data incident occurs, we will take remedial and notification steps required by applicable law.

Cookies and analytics

At present, we do not intentionally deploy non-essential advertising or behavioural analytics cookies. The site may use strictly necessary technical storage or generate server logs for security and delivery. If non-essential analytics or advertising technologies are introduced, we will update this notice and implement any required consent control before activation.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, a copy of, or correction of your personal data. You may also have rights to request deletion, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or ask us to explain our processing rules. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where the law requires or permits it.
